Q: WHAT WAS THE DECIDING FACTOR THAT ATTRACTED YOU TO CHOOSING THIS HOME?
The view! The house is a 70’s ranch style home—I do not like ranch style homes—however, when I first walked into the house, that view sold me.
Q: WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE THAT YOU NEEDED HELP FROM A PROFESSIONAL INTERIOR DESIGNER
I wanted to completely remodel my home to make it more contemporary and refined. It was a very large task to do all by myself.
Q: HOW DID YOU FIND INTERIOR DESIGN BY TIFFANY?
I was searching online when I came across Tiffany’s website. I sent her a message and she responded very quickly.
Q: HOW DID YOU DECIDE ON THE DESIGN OF THE HOUSE? WHAT INSPIRED THE CHOICE?
I have always liked transitional décor, so I knew I wanted that from the very beginning. I got a lot of inspiration from the pictures on the Houzz website.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ROOM IN THE HOUSE, AND WHY?
The living room. I wanted a living room that was sophisticated and beautiful, but that was also comfortable and homey. Somewhere where the whole family could congregate.Tiffany was able to make those wishes come true.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FEATURE IN THE HOUSE, AND WHY?
The swimming pool is my favorite feature. Coupled with the view, it is a showstopper.
Q: HOW WAS YOUR OWN PERSONAL STYLE REVEALED IN YOUR HOME?
The entire design features my style. Tiffany was able to learn what elements and colors I liked and she provided me with options that I could choose from.
Q: HOW DID YOUR HOME BALANCE DESIGN AND FUNCTIONALITY?
That’s a difficult question to answer because the design process ensured that everything we chose was also functional.
Q: WHAT THERE ANYTHING THAT SURPRISED YOU ABOUT THE DESIGN PROCESS?
Yes! How difficult and time consuming it can be. There are so many options in design that sometimes making a decision was stressful.
Q: WHAT WOULD ADVISE WOULD YOU GIVE OTHERS TO HELP IMPROVE THEIR DESIGN EXPERIENCE?
For sure it would be patience! Ensuring that the right pieces of furniture, colors and accessories are chosen, you have to take your time. Also, do not purchase something you fall in love with without speaking to your designer first.
Q: WOULD YOU RECOMMEND OTHERS TO USE AN INTERIOR DESIGNER AND HOW DID YOU LIKE WORKING WITH TIFFANY.
I do recommend that folks use an interior designer. I could not imagine having remodeled the house without help. It might seem expensive at first, but having a partner with experience can help you avoid costly mistakes. I loved working with Tiffany. She was very passionate about making sure my home looked gorgeous, and she put in the work to make it a reality. It felt like a strong partnership the whole way through, and she always listened and considered my ideas and opinions. Tiffany was always available when I needed her, even calling me when she was on vacation to help me trouble shoot an issue. I believe that speaks to her commitment to the project and to her caring personality.

Walls were removed and added. Almost every surface was untouched, all new flooring, new kitchen, new powder and living room. Custom built ins in the living room and centered the fireplace as a beautiful focal point.
